Your Pantry
Buy ingredients from other members of the Indie Shopping Verse and you can track them in your pantry. Then dynamically tag those ingredients in your menus to incorporate the story of those artisanal products dynamically.
For Artisanal Growers...
Indieversa was designed initially around the needs of an artisanal farmer selling at multiple venues per week, and around the farmers market experience: multiple artisanal producers coming together to create a market with enough products to attract sufficient foot traffic for each of the participants to make a living.
Quality, convenience, & price rule the day for today's consumer. Indie producers typically can't compete on price or convenience, but they can win on quality. Indieversa levels the playing field on convenience.
The basics
Manage your product catalog via a web-page or upload via csv. Upload product videos and images from your phone. Pricing and availability easily configured by venue or date. Private pricing by customer list for wholesale. Sales reporting by venue and/or customer.
One account, many storefronts
Sell at different venues each during the week? When you join collaborations in the Indie Shopping Verse, like farmers markets or holiday fairs, your products show on your store and on the collaboration host's store simultaneously. Easily set variable pricing and availability by venue or date.
Many ways to manage your cash
Take online or onsite orders without credit cards/fees, or easily connect/open your own Stripe account to process online and onsite orders. Where cards are used, Stripe processes sales and remits your individual proceeds directly to your bank account. The ISV team never touches anyone's sales proceeds.
Other notable or quirky features
No farmers market in your town (or the market is run by a tool), start your own. The Indieversa store lets you open venues you create to other members, as well.
Sell to local restaurants? If they use Indieversa, they have the feature to dynamically showcase ingredients purchased from you in their dynamic menus, bringing your story to their customers to enhance their customer experience.
Choose to immediately process online orders with cards or instead to approve the card but defer the charge... helpful if you sell by weight and do not know the final weight until you pick the item.
Easily manage taxes by venue and product.
For Collaborative Markets...
For a farmers market, Indieversa is a dream come true. Market coordinators manage the venue logistics. Participating vendors manage their own product catalogs, inventory, and pricing. A beautiful, collaborative online store for the market almost at the click of a button.
Free for non-profits and sponsored participants
Non-profits and paying accounts may sponsor the accounts of other members, allowing them limited access to Indieversa for free. Our guiding desire is to help indie, artisanal producers to get their legs under them as possible.
Pickup inside, curbside, or delivery
Members configure their venues as either pickup or delivery. Delivery access is controlled by zip code and delivery fees are fully at the discretion of the venue. We envision a diverse network of collaborative last-mile delivery entrepreneurialism. If there is no collaborative market in your neighborhood currently, let Indieversa help you start one.
Accessibility
Online previewing & ordering improves accessibility for community farmers markets beyond the 'fun thing to do on the weekend' dynamic. The ability to plan ahead by ordering ahead enables integration of the farmers market into family meal planning. For weeknight markets in particular, the ability to order in advance unlocks the market for late-working professionals.

Permanence
Tired of re-listing because it expired? Or to get the listing back to the top of some painful list? Flip the script and create your own personal store to list the things you trade. Then, if need be, talk to us about creating a super community marketplace for your hobby and others in the Indie Shopping Verse who might list with you.
Waitlisting & Negotiations
Indieversa offers a variety of ways to structure your selling experience, including the ability to turn on waitlisting for a given product. If a product is sold out and waitlisting is turned on, prospective customers can join the waitlist. Sellers and customers can use the embedded chat feature to facilitate negotiations.

Credit Cards, Stripe, and Banking
Every vendor account requires an account with Stripe for online orders with a card, but also has the ability to accept orders without online payment. If you don't have a Stripe account and want to enable or require online payment by card, we'll take you to Stripe where the process to open one can take just a few minutes... assuming you have your business tax ID and bank details in hand.
It is Stripe who processes the credit cards and your sales will be subject to their rules and fees.
There is no fee to have a Stripe account and connect it to Indieversa, but Stripe will deduct their standard transaction fees before depositing your sales proceeds into your bank account.
Indieversa is not designed to have access to your bank account and stripe account beyond processing the original transaction. Refunds, for example, would be managed in your Stripe Account. Indieversa does not need or want your banking details apart from connecting your Stripe account.
